The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker this new, that range is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
This is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You put money in, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
